My top 3 moisturizing argan oil shampoos and conditioners, reviewed below, are great for curly hair, dry hair, brittle hair, and damaged hair.
This is the first installment in a series of articles that will cover shampoos and conditioners with natural oils as part of their ingredients.
I don’t shampoo frequently but when necessary, I alternate between the three depending on how my hair feels like.
Argan Oil Shampoos and Conditioners for Hair
Renpure Originals Argan Oil Luxurious Shampoo & Conditioner
Renpure has an excellent line of products free of parabens, sulfates, and synthetic colors.
The shampoo lathers well and cleans hair without leaving a residue. It washes out quickly and leaves hair feeling nourished and lush.
This shampoo is also fantastic for color-treated hair and helps keep the color intact for quite some time.
I use this product when I need to shampoo a few weeks after a henna treatment.
The conditioner is a medium consistency and spreads easily through the hair providing good slip and bolstering the effects of the shampoo.
Hair is easy to finger detangle or detangle with a wide-tooth comb with this conditioner. The product’s scent is subtle and fades away soon after use.
It’s also great for the budget. I rate the shampoo 5/5 and the conditioner 5/5. Read a few user reviews below –
Crème of Nature Argan Oil Moisture & Shine Shampoo & Conditioner
Crème of Nature makes a variety of products for all hair types. The moisture and shine shampoo is a sulfate-free formula.
It cleans without stripping the hair, hydrates hair, and adds a gentle shine – pretty much everything the label promised.
It also helps you to detangle your hair while washing and when you’re done, your hair is soft and smells quite nice.
Following it up with the accompanying intensive moisturizing conditioner is the final step in a process that is designed to leave your hair feeling moisturized for days.
A little goes a long way and can last for quite some time. What’s more, it comes with an impressive price tag. Though it’s sulfate-free, it does have parabens.
This is the favorite shampoo in my arsenal while the conditioner is usually mixed in with my other treatments.
I give the shampoo 5/5 and the conditioner 4/5. Read a few user reviews below –
Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner
This shampoo and conditioner are paraben and sulfate-free. The smell is gorgeous and lasts without overpowering the senses.
The shampoo leaves the hair squeaky clean and works best for when your hair is feeling too oily.
The conditioner has a medium-thick consistency and doesn’t require huge globs to coat the hair evenly.
While you can still get your wide-tooth comb through with it, the slip isn’t that great.
This shampoo and conditioner is a hit and miss for me depending on when I use it. It doesn’t work if I’ve just taken braids.
I also have a hard time with it when I’ve just taken out extensions or used it after a henna treatment.
However, for a quick wash in-between either of those two, they work great and provide a quick moisture boost.
I give the shampoo 3.5/5 and the conditioner 4/5. Read a few user reviews below –
